"The machete looks great, but the blade is top heavy. Possibly that makes it better at chopping branches in the bush, but i have to try it out first in my yard to see how functional it really is! I was hoping for a better balanced blade."

"This thing is great! I got 2 on Bogo for peanuts... very hefty, sturdy and came sharp enough to pass the paper and shave tests. This is an insane deal for what you get. The handle is acceptable, fairly flat and the lanyard is no gut 550 cord, easily replaced, but as stated before a great deal. Dont be a steel snob this thing is perfect for what it's made for, every bit worth even the $20 non sale price. Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger."
